Paws for Panthers

The PTSA has several programs that give back to the community.

Paws for Panthers is a new PTSA program that works directly with the school social worker to assist Palmetto Senior High students that are experiencing serious financial hardship while preserving their privacy and the confidentiality of their individual circumstances.

To assist these students, Paws for Panthers has helped with everything from the basics (clothing, books, school supplies and school fees) to the extra-curricular activities that make up the high school experience (field trips, graduation expenses, homecoming). Some even need assistance with food and toiletries. Our goal is to keep these children in school, encourage their graduation, and allow them to have the same high school experiences as their peers.

Please help us help these students. Monetary donations, including corporate sponsorships, are our lifeblood. Donations are tax-deductible. This is also a great community service project for students looking for service hours, or it could be a wonderful Bar or Bat Mitzvah project.
