Dear Miami Palmetto Families:

Welcome back to our returning families! To our new families, welcome to the Miami Palmetto community! We hope you all enjoyed the fun-filled summer days, and it is with great enthusiasm that we invite you to get ready for another exciting and successful 2019-20 school year.

With your support, we can continue to make Palmetto a School of Excellence for our children. Miami Palmetto Senior High School is a community based on vibrant parent involvement. Your contribution, whether it is your time, knowledge, or resources make a difference. We invite you to become an involved member at Palmetto. Thank you for helping in any way you can and showing your children the importance you place on their education. A strong PTSA represents parent involvement and parent involvement represents student success.

Miami Palmetto PTSA Membership Drive is under way! I strongly encourage everyone to renew or start a new membership. Please click here to become a member of our thriving PTSA community. I would personally like to invite you to be part of that voice by attending PTSA meetings. This gives you a vote (voice) on how your fundraising dollars are spent towards our amazing programs. I am always humbled and inspired by the many volunteers who can offer their time to make Miami Palmetto PTSA run smoothly.

We look forward to getting to know your family. We hope you will join us for our PTA meetings beginning with our first meeting. (For a list of PTSA meetings click here.) Everyone will have the opportunity to join the PTSA, sign up to be a volunteer, talk to our committee chairs, learn about the events the PTA has planned, and much more. Please sign up for our e-newsletter or follow us on Facebook to hear about up to date events.

On behalf of the PTSA Executive Board and all the volunteers, we wish everyone a very productive year ahead and look forward to your continued support. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at ginaptsa@gmail.comor 786-473-3311 (text is best). Please know that questions and suggestions are always welcome!
